Nick Maerz

Professional History:
With 19 years in the real estate industry, Nick has extensive experience in real estate investment, real estate development, property management, construction/remodeling and floor plan design.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier Brokers in Carson City, Nick was a real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap in Philadelphia where he specialized in multi-family properties. Nick has owned and operated several successful construction and real estate development companies, owning and managing over 300 units which ranged from single units for student housing to multi-unit high rises. Nick was also a consultant with a ‘Big 4' consulting firm headquartered in New York City and eventually started his own consulting practice specializing in project management, build-outs and technology infrastructure for commercial real estate projects. Nick’s technological background enabled him to create the Real Estate Management Investment Exchange Tool, a consulting based computer software database which is currently being used by several national real estate organizations. Nick’s unique knowledge and understanding of all facets of real estate acquisition and disposition, development, management and technology make him a valuable asset to the northern Nevada market.

Nick possesses a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Science in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University, Muncie, IN. He is currently a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Nevada and in the process of obtaining his CCIM designation. Nick is an active member of Rotary International in Minden.
